Information you provide
You choose what to add. This can include task titles, notes, dates, priorities, reminders, conversations, memory, attached images, account details, and an email address for reminders.
Account and device storage
For signed-in users, account storage is the primary home for workspace data and the web app keeps a working browser copy. If you continue without signing in, the workspace is saved only in that browser. Browser data can be removed by clearing site data, and on-device iOS data can be removed by deleting the app.
AI, reminders, and account services
OpenAI processes the messages, task context, memory, and images you choose to submit to the Secretary. Resend delivers reminder emails you ask Aiken Dewit to schedule.
Supabase supports sign-in and account storage when those features are enabled. Vercel hosts Aiken Dewit and handles the requests needed to provide the service.
On iOS, Apple processes Sign in with Apple. If you enable the Apple Reminders integration, the app reads reminders you choose to import and creates or updates reminders for tasks you choose to sync. This access stays under the permission controls in iOS Settings.
How information is used
Information is used to provide the features you request, keep the service working, prevent abuse, understand anonymous product usage, and respond to support needs. Private workspace content is not used for advertising or analytics.
Product analytics
The web application uses Vercel Web Analytics for anonymous page views and predefined workflow events. Vercel Web Analytics does not use cookies for this collection. Page URLs are stripped of query strings and fragments before they are sent.
Anonymous page-view information can include the page route, referrer, event time, approximate region, browser, operating system, and device type. Workflow events measure milestones such as opening a workspace, creating, starting, or completing tasks, starting and finishing a Secretary exchange, scheduling a reminder, using import or export, and progressing through the tutorial. Failed Secretary exchanges are counted without recording the request or error content.
Analytics events use a fixed vocabulary and categorical properties so Aiken Dewit can evaluate adoption and decide what to improve. They do not include task titles, notes, conversations, memory, email addresses, account identifiers, reminder text, or imported content.
Retention and control
You can edit or delete workspace items and export a backup. Clearing Aiken Dewit’s site data removes the working copy held in that browser; signed-in users can restore synced work by signing in again. Deleting the iOS app removes its on-device workspace. Signed-in iOS users can permanently delete their account and synced cloud data from Settings. Companies that process AI requests or reminder delivery may keep limited operational records under their own retention policies.
